It was Rodeo Houston 2023... Abby and one of her bridesmaids, Raquel, had an Uber waiting on them at the infamous Houston Heights bar, Wicklow. They were talking to their friend, Nicole, about some guy named Geoffrey - and how Abby just HAD to meet him the following day on the bus to the rodeo. However, Nicole's husband, Thomas, had other plans... he texted Geoff in that moment, "You gotta come to Wicklow right now and meet this girl, Abby!"

So, Geoffrey shows up - cowboy hat, rodeo committee vest, and all - but Abby had no idea she was the reason he was there. Until... Geoffrey appeared with two espresso martinis for her and Raquel. They small talked for a second but quickly said bye because the Uber had been waiting for 20 minutes at that point.

The next morning, Abby, Raquel and Abby's Maid of Honor and cousin, Jenny, walked on the bus to head to the rodeo. "YALL! that's the Geoffrey guy we met last night!" Abby was so excited because she knew she would get to talk to him again.

Flash forward to that night, post-rodeo... Abby and Geoff find themselves back at Wicklow with all their friends. Only this time, Geoff orders 20 espresso martinis instead of two! IYKYK. Abby and Geoff immediately hit it off and talked all night - the crew ended up taking the party back to W 15th Street to watch random music videos and order McDonalds...

The next day, Abby and Geoff planned their first date, Cody Jinks at Rodeo Houston, of course.

Two years later, Geoff asked Abby if she wanted to come turkey hunting with him at their family's ranch in South Texas. She had never been so she was excited to join! Little did Abby know that Geoff never planned to kill a turkey. Instead, he got up at 5am to set up the proposal. When he got back to the house, Abby was eager to go ride around on the property. They got out at a beautiful pond for Geoff to show her the ducks (it was not even duck season). That's when she knew IT was happening.

Geoff got down on one knee in front of the pond surrounded by yellow flowers, turquoise and ranch waters! It was the most dreamy day that they will remember for the rest of their lives!

And now, MAY 9TH NEEDS TO HURRY UP! Geoff and Abby cannot wait to celebrate with all of their favorite people.
